Spike Brant
Nimblist
CEO
Spike Brant is CEO of Nimblist, the company he founded with Justin Collie in 2001. He has over 30 years of experience spanning all aspects of production from show design, lighting, site planning, creative, and producing. Seeing dumpsters of scenery on TV productions like the VMAs ignited a drive to think and design more sustainably. In 2000 as Bon Jovi's new designer, management charged him with calculating the carbon footprint of the One Wild Night tour.
Over the past six years, Spike has channeled some of his energy and Nimblist resources into the Lancaster Conservancy, tapping into his network and know-how to design educational and engaging activations. He helped to develop and pitch what is now their 6th annual Water Week.
Always asking what is possible, he aims to amplify environmental awareness and sustainable practices in the entertainment industry, fighting for sustainability to have a seat at the table along with budget and creative. This year he partnered with AGF to assess the Spring Bon Jovi Tour and the Robin Hood Foundation’s annual benefit at JJCC. Education never stops…
He lives in Lancaster, PA, with his wife Jenny and their kids Ian and Sidney.
