Kent has brought well over 300 plays, musicals, operas, and dances to fruition. Equally at home as a lighting designer and as a programmer, he embraces and excels in both the artistic and technical aspects of lighting. He also has extensive experience providing networked show control systems. His favorite projects are those that place established art forms in new contexts, especially with young writers.
His work has appeared across the off-broadway and downtown NYC theatre scene, as well as at venues such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Natural History Museum, the Church of Saint Ann and the Holy Trinity, and the Ohio Light Opera. Kent holds a B.A. in Theatre and Dance from the College of Wooster. Kent is a founding member of the Sovereign Candle Collective.
