Frank Verbeek is an international production manager and “tech
nerd”. During his 26 years of working in the event industry he started
as a technician and worked his way up to production manager of large
scale international events. In recent years Frank Verbeek has been
responsible worldwide for the technical and production management
of the Top Gear Live shows & Glory Kickboxing.
In addition to his work as a production manager, Frank is also always
inventing and innovating the industry. Frank was responsible for
digitizing show communication at the world's largest events and
festivals and was the person who used the first real time tracking
system at the Eurovision song contest to track people with light and
video.
As a part-time programmer, he programmed the first digital event
accreditation system which is now regarded as the de-facto standard
for events. During the covid time, Frank became involved in Genius,
an immersive experience about the life of Leonardo da Vinci. He has
made this exhibition with 60 projectors in a 360-degree edge blend,
interactive tracking and surround audio tour ready and this show has
now been visited by a quarter of a million people.
