Silver State Wire Rope and Dave Carmack Consulting has teamed up with LDI to bring you a once-in-a-lifetime event. Learn techniques that allow you to make better snap decisions while the pressure is on. Dave brings many years of hoisting experience with him and delivers an entertaining and educational course.

What you should expect to learn during this class:
  •  An understanding of Industry Standards and Regulations
  • ASME B30.16
  • ANSI E1.6-2
  • Common motor tech terminologies to improve your communication.
  •  Allowable field corrections and what must go to a service center
  • A firm understanding of the inside workings of a chain motor by a full hoist disassembly.
  •  Electrical Components and their relationship to each other
  • How to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Safe handling & use
  • Allowable adjustments and factory/marketing recommendations
  • You will be taught trade secrets techniques from Dave’s lifelong experiences
  • And finally, you will be given the opportunity to showcase what you learned by repairing broken motors that Dave and Andrew Rogers from Silver State Wire Rope have sabotaged.
Motors and tools provided by Andrew Rogers from Silver State Wire Rope.
Students will receive a certificate of completion.
