Required Materials: Personal show file for console of choice. Basic understanding of console programming. Laptop/Tablet with your on-PC software of choice installed.

Have you ever wondered how to get from load-in to doors open in under two-hours? When was the last time you re-visited the tools in your base show file? Are you always starting from scratch on a new rig every day? Learn some of the tips and tricks from industry professionals who will share busking best practices with you in this three-session, full-day hands-on intensive. From punt-pages to must-have effects, some of your favorite lighting designers and programmers will divulge their secrets that make them the rock star behind the desk.

You will learn how to approach lighting programming in a live setting. Come prepared with a show file and get hands-on, cumulative experience with the console of your choice. Sessions include: a panel of lighting designers discussing their experiences with busking, a software-based session to program the ultimate busking showfile, and a session to put your show file into practice on a console and show off your busking style!

Live Programming - Busking with the Best

Learn from top industry professionals on how they mastered the illusive skill of busking. Expert programmers will show off the method to their madness, and how they utilize their impressive rigs for maximum effect no matter what happens live. More than simple console training, this session contains fundamental advice and knowledge you need to improve your live programming skills.

Live Programming - Busking 101

Follow along with your programming platform of choice, as programmers lay out their step-by-step process of getting a busking file built. Learn about data management, organized layouts, and simple effective content creation to make your life easier and more efficient. This session is designed to take you from a blank show file to a busking base level, by following expert examples.

Live Programming - Busking Bullpen Training
4pm-6pm
Programmers will demonstrate live, on a multitude of consoles, exactly how their busking show files function. Put your fresh show file to the test in this live training environment, with hands-on training from the masters on the Battle of the Busk Stage..This cross-console training is unlike any other, and promises to enrich your knowledge of busking regardless of programming language.

Lunch is provided.
