XR & Virtual Production: Creating Immersive Experiences

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.

Extended reality and virtual production are two of the hottest topics in broadcast and immersive experiences. At the center of many of these experiences are a combination of TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, and Notch. Each of these three software programs deliver their strengths to a project, whether it’s TouchDesigner's unlimited flexibility and hardware integrations, Unreal Engine’s high-end rendering, or Notch’s rapid content creation workflows. In this course, take a dive into architecting XR or virtual production pipeline as well as how to set up these projects in practice.

Special session:
+Virtual Production: What’s the glue that holds it all together? A talk with a CTO on production integration

An in-depth discussion on virtual production integration. Join Scott Millar, the CTO of XR Studios—a digital production company specializing in immersive technology for entertainment -- as we discuss "the glue" that holds it all together and how to effectively achieve innovative productions that integrate extended reality (XR), augmented reality (AR), and more. As we dive into challenges that come with new VP workflows, you'll leave with innovative solutions and key resources that will help tackle your upcoming projects. The talk will be followed by a Q&A with Scott Millar.

Lunch is provided.
